Our Emergency Water Removal Process

At Restore To Before, we follow a systematic process to ensure efficient water removal and restoration. Our approach is designed to minimize disruption to your life and restore your property to its original condition as quickly as possible.

  • Step 1: Rapid Response: We’re available 24/7 to respond to your emergency water removal needs. Once you contact us, our team arrives promptly. Our vehicles are equipped with everything needed to start the water removal process immediately.

  • Step 2: Assessment: We assess the extent of the water damage and develop a tailored plan for removal and restoration. This includes identifying the source of the water, categorizing the water (clean, gray, or black), and determining the best approach for extraction.

  • Step 3: Water Extraction: Using advanced equipment, we remove all standing water from your property quickly. Our high-powered pumps and vacuums can remove thousands of gallons of water in a short period, preventing further damage.

  • Step 4: Drying and Dehumidification: After water removal, we thoroughly dry the affected areas to prevent mold and secondary damage. This process involves using industrial-grade fans and dehumidifiers to remove moisture from the air and building materials.

  • Step 5: Cleaning and Sanitizing: We clean and sanitize your property to remove any harmful bacteria or contaminants brought by the water. This step is especially important in cases of gray or black water, which can pose significant health risks.

  • Step 6: Restoration: Finally, we restore your property to its original state, making it safe and comfortable once again. This may involve minor repairs, such as replacing drywall and flooring, or more extensive reconstruction, depending on the extent of the damage.

What to Do Before We Arrive at your home in Yukon OK

While waiting for our team to arrive, here are some steps you can take to minimize damage:

  • Turn off the water source if possible. This will prevent additional water from entering your home or business.

  • Avoid electrical hazards by shutting off electricity in the affected areas. Water and electricity are a dangerous combination, so it's essential to avoid any potential risks.

  • Remove valuable items from the water-affected areas. If safe to do so, move items like electronics, important documents, and furniture to a dry area to prevent further damage.

  • Do not attempt to remove water yourself if it’s more than a few inches deep. Not only is this potentially dangerous, but it can also spread contaminants or cause further damage if not done correctly.

Taking these steps can help reduce the overall impact of water damage and make the restoration process smoother and faster.

More about Yukon OK

Yukon was founded by A.N. Spencer in 1891 and was named for the Yukon River which flows from British Columbia, across the Yukon, and into Alaska. The town voted to incorporate in 1901 and voted to add water works, sewer, and electricity from the mill in 1910. Businesses remained clustered on Main Street between Fourth and Fifth, until the 1920s, when they began to locate in other parts of the town. The interurban was built from Oklahoma City to El Reno in 1911. It closed in 1940. Paved roads didn't arrive until the construction of State Highway 66 in 1926. Oklahoma City annexed nearly all of the land around Yukon during the 1960s. This brought a boom in residential construction and commercial development.
